Business discovery phase
AMD Web Design will perform a comprehensive web marketing analysis of your business’s web presence requirements.
We study your current market reach and compare it to the marketplace in general. We then determine what the best course of action will be to best implement your business’s online presence.
Content Planning SEO Gap Analysis
A content gap process examines how well your content marketing library answers your customers’ queries and wants to identify opportunities to reach out to people you may be overlooking.
The “gap” can then be filled with fresh or updated content. It’s also known as a competitor gap analysis or perhaps a website gap analysis.
There are three main areas in your content to look for:
A set of keywords for which you are currently not ranking in search results but your competitors are.
A buying stage gap is when you haven’t created enough content to answer common questions at the top of the funnel.
A distribution channel that you aren’t currently using to get your content out into the world is known as a channel gap.
Creative and user interface (Mobile First)
Once your business’s market analysis is completed, AMD Web Design then determines with the client what your website’s structure should entail. Depending on the scope of your website, we then create a Functional Specification Document that outlines your website’s structure and navigation.
Mockup Wireframing (Client Sign Off)
Now that your website’s structure is in place, we can do a “sketch” or prototype of your website. We work on the theme that either the client has determined or we work on one that we have proposed. This is a very important stage of the design process.
We create appropriate graphics that reflect the desired theme that also compliments your business’s market analysis. AMD Web Design works closely with the client to ensure that they are very satisfied with how their website will appear as a finished product. We create a special “Client’s Area” on one of our servers so that the client can review the entire prototyping process. There are no surprises here. All of AMD Web Design’s clients know what they are getting before the project due date.
Website development
Once the prototype website design has been approved, AMD Web Design then begins the production of the website. Our graphic designers transform the prototype graphics into web optimised graphics. These files are compressed for optimal web viewing and are then transferred to our web programmers who then insert them into web pages. These pages can be coded in many different web languages, as best suited for your particular website requirements.
Testing Mobile & Desktop
During the entire design and site coding process, our Quality Assurance Engineers fully test the website to ensure trouble-free operation and optimal ease of use to the end-user.
We gather feedback from small groups of users in our testing lab, create a bug list, and discuss any changes with the client.
Optimise the code – this boosts the site’s speed, which is important to SEO. We can achieve greater speed by reducing CSS and JavaScript.
Website launch (Go Live)
Once the production of the website is complete and the client has approved everything, we launch your website and it is now “live” on the internet for everyone to view. This is a very exciting stage for everyone involved.
We also put in redirects if the site is replacing an older website.
Final SEO checklists – our SEO team runs a final audit. also, Client training if needed.
Website maintenance
We strongly advise that anyone with a CMS website invest in a support and maintenance plan to ensure that their website remains in great shape.
Updates to the CMS and plugins are required to prevent hacking and provide additional security.
Security checks – for example, the Itheme security hardening plug-in in our software.
Off server backups – we perform backups on our Dropbox Pro server account.
Search Marketing and Improvement – Starts (Needed)
Once your site is “live” and essential promotion is done, Link building* – we’ll get started on a link-building strategy that will help with SEO rankings and will include creating outreach blog content.
Plan for improvement – a website is always a work in progress, and it should evolve over time to meet changing demands.
